Boccia is Back

To celebrate National Boccia Day on 27/09/21, the Dementia Actif Gwynedd team organised a ‘Boccia is Back’ Competition. Unable to bring teams together to compete because of COVID restrictions, they created a target competition where players took part at their venue or care home and sent in their scores. 8 teams represented Gwynedd Council residential homes, with a total of 27 players taking part and the community classes saw a total of  24 teams and  65 players joining in. 
 
The winners of the residential homes competition were Team Garn from Plas Hafan and the Community competition was won by Pwllheli Rollers from the Dwyfor Dementia Actif group.
