Dementia Gwynedd Information Roadshow

Following the success of the Dementia Gwynedd Information Roadshow earlier in the year, the next round of events have now been organised targeting other areas of the county.  The aim of the Information Roadshow is to provide an informal opportunity  for people who

  • are worried about their Memory
  • waiting for a dementia diagnosis
  • have a dementia diagnosis
  • unpaid carers,  family or friends

to come along to meet and talk to professionals  who can provide information, advice and support which covers all areas of the dementia journey. There will be a warm welcome for people to just pop in or to stay for the duration and enjoy the opportunity to take part in activities, a cuppa and a chat.

Bala 26th November

Canolfan Bro Tegid, High Street, Bala, Gwynedd, LL23 7AE
Tuesday 26th November , 1.00 - 4.00pm

Includes - Mindfulness session at 1:30pm (Canolfan Henblas)

Llanberis 28th November

Thursday 28th November, 1.00 - 4.00pm

Includes - Hand Reflexology session at 2:00pm

Aberdyfi, 29th November

Neuadd Dyfi, Aberdyfi, LL35 0NR
Friday 29th November, 11.00am - 2.00pm

Includes - Relaxation session at 1:00pm

Information included - Memory Support Pathway, helpful hints for dealing with dementia symptoms ; benefits and financial support; legal considerations; carers needs assessments; wellbeing grants for carers; community Activities and groups; dementia advocacy; respite and short breaks; home and residential care information.
