Tywyn Community Dementia Event

Friday 19th January 2024 at Neuadd Pendre, 10:00am-4:30pm.

Tywyn has been chosen as the first town in Gwynedd to hold a Listening Campaign to help shape the future of dementia care and support.

People living with dementia, carers, families, professionals and community members are invited to a day of information, activity and fun. You can come along just for the morning or afternoon... or you're welcome to stay all day.

On the day, you will be able to:-

  • Enjoy a programme of activities (including a dance performance & singing) & information stall
  • Speak to professionals from the health board, emergency services and advice and support organisations
  • Have your say about what good dementia care looks like
  • Watch an informative film to help raise awareness about dementia- called "The World Turned Upside Down" (the film will be shown in the afternoon).

Lunch and cuppas are provided throughout the day- free of cost.
