Dementia Actif Gwynedd Community Officer

I started working as a Secretary with Gwynedd Council back in 2020 and have since been very lucky to take on many different roles. Since May 2024 I am delighted to be part of the Dementia Actif Gwynedd team as a Community Officer.

I have attended several trainings and I’m still learning. I love supporting people living with dementia and their families/carers through physical activities, sport and chatting over a cuppa and biscuit. This experience of supporting people with dementia is completely new to me, but I'm enjoying every moment and still developing my understanding.
