The Dementia Actif Gwynedd Team are passionate about raising awareness, reducing stigma and breaking down barriers about Dementia. It is our aim to help make it easier to talk about which will in turn support people to live as well as possible with the disease.

The Dementia Actif Gwynedd staff are Dementia Friends Champions, which is an Alzheimer’s Society led initiative. They run Dementia Friends information sessions in the community and to various organisations which helps to raise awareness of how to support people living with Dementia. These sessions can also be offered online.
